More like a 3.5, but in comparison to the last few books I've read by Lackey, it deserves the extra star. Still a little puffed up, but not a novella in disguise, either. Slight, but ok.

Another strong entry. Mags has been cursed with an interesting life. They are going to need to go back to find out about Nikolas' accident. There are no "accidents" when you are a Herald. Nice developments in Mags' spy network.
