Wonderful book! Even though it is true over 15,000 books about Lincoln have been written, this reflects not only him but his Times. Pleasant reading, more novel-like than a history lesson, recommend!

Gave a flavor of the times as well as Lincoln. While I learned a lot from this book, it was very repetitive. It also make what recently happened with Trump seem trivial in comparison, but it's not.
