Overall, it's a good story. However, it sits in a little historical bubble - the slang of John/Lancelot now borders on incomprehensible at times, the British class system and subsequent character portrayal, transport options, their diet (oh my goodness)!!

This was a fun children's book that is well written and stands the test of time pretty well. It was written back in the 1950's.
