a little bulky, but holds a tree well. if you are like me and get a 7-8 foot tree.. you will need a 60 inch skirt to hide this base and still have the skirt come to where the brances end. (i included a picture of my tree skirt and where it will come to on a 8 foot tree)

Kept the pine tree trunk stable. The tree stand is durable and held up well with two dogs and cat that love to attack the ornaments. Highly recommend for real trees.
