This took forever to put together. Every single piece has to be screwed together. It's an investment of time and patience. It turned out well though. You definitely want to be aware of little ones who could hurt themselves. Otherwise everything seems very safe and sturdy.

I love the openness of look. It took a long time to build ( 2 of us several hours) but not too difficult. You will need a drill to position the screws for the slats and the wheels. Also, the bottom trundle should have a 6-7” mattress so it slides under the bed
