I use the mason jars daily for leftovers and my distilled water. The lids are tight and never rust. Dishwasher safe too. I don't hot water can my food in these lids.

LOVE THESE and love the price! I've purchased the Ball/Mason brand and these work just as well as the name brand. I only use these lids for dry goods. Have no idea if they leak when tipped if the jar contains liquid. I will definitely be purchasing more when I need to pad my order for free shipping.
