I think he is looking for American, conservative, Christian readers, and I fail on at least two of those count...

I applaud the author's intent: to give children and teens upstanding role models who survived dangerous situations and helped others through theirs. However, nothing from the cover led me to expect the bible verses before and after each chapter/story, nor the three appendices that the author uses...
