Kingsbury caught my attention with the first sentence of this book and held it until the end. It is a powerful book about young love and parents love for their children. I found myself rooting for Shane and Lauren, hoping they could overcome their parents' objections and remain together.

This is a great book on matters of love and faith. I have a strong faith in God, and while reading this, I felt very refreshed reading about how the couple put God into the picture along with their intense love for each other. It was extremely touching.
