I read this for the "A Book Set In Southern USA" part of my 2019 reading challenge. It was good, and the recipes looked interesting, but overall I expected it to be deeper and more about her and her life.

I enjoyed it, but I guess I'm just not as into decorating and homemaking as people who love this book is. I enjoyed the stories and admire Witherspoon and the strong southern women in her life.
