Pretty good for teen vampire angst. I listened to it on cd, and it was entertaining. I think it's a really interesting take on the vampire idea, but I wish that Bella was a little less passive. However, it does take me back to the days of teen crushes, so I'd say it's well done.

The only reason I read this book was that my English teacher had given it to me as a present. That I couldn't refuse. The book's plot is a rather hackneyed one -forbidden love- and it doesn't do anything new except bring what passes for vampires into the mix. The different being this lot 'sparkle...
