The Harvest is a chilling horror film that will leave you on the edge of your seat.

Despite being John McNaughton's first film in nearly 15 years, he has managed to create a refreshingly old-school nerve-jangler with no need for paranormal monsters or flashy special effects.

The film follows Maryann, an impressive Natasha Calis, as she moves in with her grandparents after being orphaned and sets out to befriend a deathly ill, bed-ridden boy, Charlie Tahan, despite the outright disapproval of his mother, Samantha Morton.

As Maryann's persistence pays off, she gradually uncovers some seriously sinister goings-on in the house.
