Gravedigger Jones and Coffin Ed Johnson are two black cops with a reputation for breaking the odd head in 1970's Harlem.

This hilarious and unique film follows their adventures as they team up with a Reverend who is selling trips back to Africa on the installment plan, only to have his truck hijacked and a bale of cotton stuffed with money lost in the chase.

With much of the humor being urban black, this film was ahead of its time and remains a classic today.
