Bought this in June and at first it seemed to work great but then a couple weeks went buy and it literally melted and burned itself from the inside out. Killed all of our plecos we had and everything. Very disappointed

It's a bit big for the 1.5 gallon tank but it doesn't over heat it at all. It stays exactly in the green area of the thermometer for tropical fish which is great because we use this little tank for our swordtail fry. Not sure why so many negative reviews. I allowed ours to “break in” for about a week and it's constantly warming at or around 76-78 degrees. Our fish are active & healthy.The light does periodically go back/forth green & red but it's supposed to as temperatures fluctuate throughout the day. I rec...
