This is the third or fourth time I have purchased this vanilla bean paste. I use it to make homemade vanilla ice cream. It's expensive, but I found that if I use half vanilla bean paste and have vanilla extract, the flavor is really good. That allows me to make it last for a long time.

In my opinion, if you want the best flavoring...look no further. I use this for most of my "special" baking. Everyone raves about the taste. That's all I need to hear!

Has less of a paste texture and more like a syrup, but so much better than extract.
