The grip is super comfortable, and the threads are great. I can spin the nuts with a flick of the finger, which makes changing weights much easier. They stink like rubber though, which doesn't bother me, but I've read complaints from others. Great value for half the price of similar bars.

I have way more expensive handles and this one is just as good - in fact better because its non-slip grip surface is more secure.

The dumbbell handle fit some old plates I had just fine. It has a rubber grip that gives just a little as you tighten the star collar lock on either side. This ensures a better lock than say a metal grip which would make the star collar lock tighten very quickly and consequently would come loose...
