I hadn't tried barley until recently and I have come to really like it. Its almost like a middle ground between pasta and rice. I've purchased a few bags of this now.

we always use it to make a soup during fasting it is so light good texture and look after boiled for couple of hours all my extended family use it during ramadan while breaking fast or starting fast

This is pearl barley, which is a very important ingredient in several soup recipes. It gives the soup an excellent texture (it sort of "pops" in your mouth when you bite down on it) without adding any unpleasant flavor to the soup.

Beautiful product. Cooked well. Excellent taste. Much better than what I found on my local grocery shelves.
