I bought this rod to do some shore fishing in Mexico and wanted a rod that would fit in my luggage. This rod was great. Easily detected the lightest hits and handled a 20lb ray like a boss.

Matched this Ugly Stick up with a Zebco 33 platinum reel for my wife. She's catching more fish than me now.

I bought eight of the 6'6" MH casting rods for my catfishing addiction. Went out and caught 10 over 25lbs already and the rods held up perfectly. I love the new design on the eyes, I'll be picking up more in the future for friends.
