My daughter loves using scissors and this is perfect! The plastic scissors work very well and she has been having so much fun cutting out all the pieces. I love how the beginning of the book is more basic straight lines and it gradually becomes more advanced as you work your way through.

Now this gets my daughter practicing her cutting, all while stay safe and not have me worried about her cutting herself. The drawings range from simple lines to slightly harder ones, and this challenges my daughter. Definitely something to add to the tool box of arts and crafts for kids.

I purchased this for my 4 year old grand niece so she could practice her cutting skills. As a former teacher of young children I found they need to practice cutting skills as much as possible. I have not seen how my grand niece uses it so I can't comment on that.
