I have all hardwood floors and I also have very messy parrots, so this is perfect for my needs. Because of its small size you need to empty the dustbin more often than a normal full size vacuum cleaner, but thats not a big deal. I wouldn't recommend this for carpets since it doesnt have a rotaing...

I'm keeping bc I already have a Dyson but don't expect anything major its ok for bare floors but can't and won't work on carpet. It's got ok suction for dust bunnies but that's it. Maybe ok for a dorm room or small cabin not for a house

I would think this item to be better than other brands within the same price range. Also I haven't heard of too many sour deals from this company. It performs fairly well and isn't loud or noisy which was a relief. It's small but works and thats all I care about.
