It's nice and heavy. And it's made in America.

My son assembled this basketball system with minimal help in about 2 to 3 hours. I chose to fill the base with sand and that took a good hour because the sand wasn't readily pouring out into the tiny hole. Overall the basketball goal is durable enough for my 10 year old daughter and for family fun.
