I mixed up some cornbread mix and poured into muffin tins. No spray of any kind, no butter, no "nothing." They came out like a dream. Not one tiny sign of sticking. I did put about 1/3 cup water in each empty tin. It was a tip I read for keeping empty tins from warping.
