I Use the mat for various types of sit-up as I like some padding between me and the floor. It has just the right firmness to cushion my back and bottom. It holds its shape well and I expect it will continue to do so.

Overall, it's been a great experience. I ordered the mats for myself to stretch and begin yoga. But, I later found out my niece recently joined gymnastics and she ended up with that set. She loves them!

We ordered these for Christmas for our two and four year old little girls. They love them, and we feel better about their gymnastic tricks being done on the mats rather than the floor! Our older children use them too. A great buy and I am contemplating ordering one more.

Bought it for my granddaughter, a new gymnast who said it was her best Christmas present. I think she did cartwheels for at least eight hours straight. Didn't matter how many people in the house, that mat was out and she was cartwheeling into happiness.
