I bought this for my baby to swim in a pool with it doesnt work well in a pool because it continue to flip your baby on their back . Its kind of heard for your baby to walk in though . However It will keep your babies head above water in case they fall in the water 100%

My 10m old son hated the other life vest we had him. I was nervous he would hate this also, but I was happy to find that he loved it! He didnt cry or whine when we put it on him and he fell asleep with it on. It was a great pillow while we were on the boat!
