I followed the directions per the bag. Layered the seed with a Pennington straw mat. Watered per instructions. The seed grew within days, grew in full and green, then died off with in weeks without any additional growth. Spend over $500 on seed and straw to have nothing.

They don't disclose the seed on the packaging. If they did, no one would buy it. Don't buy it! I'm so disappointed.

After reading the negative reviews I learn why my grass died. It's junk grass seed!! We must have blown over $300 in seed for our new house lawn only to have it look awesome for about 3 weeks after it came in...then it started to die section by section. Did a total lawn renovation last fall. Seed come up great in about 3 weeks. Now that the grass is mature it is thin with thick blades if you want to call in that. Once you cut you have a brown color.
