So far it's been a great first spinning combo for my kids! It was loaded with Berkeley trilene line and ready to go.

This thing casts insanely far and is very smooth. With most reels that have line already on them when you buy them the line is very curly and hard to cast but it wasn't that way with this one. This combo with a r2s whopper plopper tied on has caught me many bass and my 2nd largest large mouth.
