We bought this for our grandson. He used it for one day & the handle of the reel fell off. He was so disappointed. He is avid fisherman who loves to fish.

I bought this combo, I used it during the summer, but the push button on the reel stopped working and loose. Now I have the unit looking as a brand new but useful. I tried to fix it but I could not. I kept the rod and now I am looking to replace the spin cast.

I absolutely love abu Garcia fishing poles I have 4 but I bought the Ike dude spinning combo for my 16 year old and it broke in half…had to be a defect because I've never had this happen with any of my poles!

I bought this a couple months ago to take on a fishing trip. Used it once before I went on the trip and it worked fine. Got to my fishing destination and the bale screw had fallen out and the screw and bale were missing. Not a great showing from Abu Garcia. Hopefully they find a fix for this.
