This design with the oblong tub jams the ice and stop the tub from turning. When the ice jams it dents the tub making the problem worse.

Used it once. Packed it away and brought it out a year later and all the motor does is hum...doesn't turn. It's a piece of garbage, avoid this one.

The first two times we used the machine it was great. The third time it stalled once or twice. The fourth batch of ice cream we had to put in the freezer. All it would do was stall. No salt or ice hang up.

Worked fine the first couple or three times we used it, then on the next time, won't turn the bucket. Motor will only barely run even by itself, attached to nothing. Bought it less than 2 months ago, so returning it. Plastic junk. Shoulda known better.
