Very sturdy but a little difficult to open the first time. Use proper leverage to open. A little shorter than I expected, but so are most folding portable chairs. I really liked them.

These are totally better than I expected. Rich hardwood, heavy construction not cheap. When open them you can't really tell that they fold. I purchased 6 and am very happy.

The chair backs are considerably shorter than the standard chairs but the design, finish and upholstery are compatible enough with our dining table and chairs that it will be okay. The chairs are sturdy and the price was right.

The chairs are nice but the wood color wasn't as dark as what the picture. they are comfy too. The back isn't high like your dining room chair but these chairs will do for extra company at the table.
