I bought 2 of these bottles because I really liked the locking feature on the lid. Today is the first day I have tried my bottle. I opened it twice this morning to take a sip of water and both times it "projectile vomited" the liquid all over my shirt. I will be returning both to Walmart asap.

Not only does this bottle leak when it is on its side, the straw is not air tight. There is a air suction noise when the straw is used. ChuckandMall

This is the newer style that lets you lock the lid. I've not had any problems with it leaking. The straw is more secure in this new style and also the mouth piece is more comfortable to drink from.
