I've used H%26R Block for >20 years. I do my own taxes and I've always found it to be reliable tax software. It's got a good user interface and has helped me through challenging tax situations from time to time. It seems like it's usually a little cheaper than TurboTax.

very easy to use except at the end, after I entered account info for my state tax filing a prompt appeared stating the software needed to be updated. After update it required me to place my bank info in again. I was very concerned that there might be 2 charges for my state tax but there was only 1.
