I'm not a big cranking fan but this rod helps a bunch. I mainly throw square bills early and late in the year and not much in between. I thought my 7' veratas med. action was the best rod for throwing a 1.0 square bill. wrong! My first delay series rod was a 7'3" med action for 1.0 square bills...
