Pflueger President Spincast Reel, Size 6 Fishing Reel

My wife purchased the President Rod/Reel combo from the local Academy for an anniversary present. I never tried a Pfueger before and I'm very happy with this combo, especially the reel. First day out and the speck were biting! This 75/10 pulled everything my rig could draw and so far no problems.

I bought this a month ago and have used it a couple times. Overall a real good real. smooth casting and smooth retrieving action. I did catch some Bass with it and handled them real good. Thank You for a good quality real.

This is the best underspin reel by far. It is rare to have a reel in this class that your kids can use easily and yet is serious enough for you to use also. The drag is more like what you expect on a quality spinning rig. Pflueger should also make a micro version to complement this fine series of...

I have many different reels collected over years. I'd compare this to an old Johnson for ease of casting and distance. It's really long! Very smooth reeling too. Caught a few fish with it but nothing to put it to a good test yet

I bought this reel intending to use it for bream and other panfish. I have only used it a couple of times, but I am very please so far. The operation is smooth and the drag seems good also. The reel feels as it is constructed well and the color scheme is great.
