This item was broken upon opening it out of the box. Very disappointed that it also doesn't clean the carpets, as the suction doesn't work. Waste of money

I was so excited and put it all together. When i started it my daughter said it sounded funny. Vacuumed my bedroom and hallway. Moved the cord to the living room and Nothing!!! Thought it was the plug.... No! Just died after 10 min of "light" use. Could have used another 15 min )-:

This Dirt Devil vacuum cleaner is a god send. Although it requires a lot of care and you have to clean it every time that you utilize it, it's definitely changed my cleaning routine cutting it and half at least.

This upright vacuum with hose & other attachments seems to work great on carpet. We have a large area rug and lots of small throw rugs covering concrete floors. Have not had a chance to use attachments yet. The price was excellent; lightweight to handle; and, dust container easy to clean; plus...
