I do like this blender. It works great for smoothies and soups. I didn't like that the pan guard was missing from the box. And I would like to see a cap of some sort added for when it is stored. The blades are extremely sharp and an accident could easily happen.

Good product overall. However I thought this was cordless because of the pictures and packaging, but it isn't. Also, packaging and owner's manual show a removable pan guard, but it isn't included. These are issues KitchenAid needs to address, not Walmart.

Works beautifully and is solidly made. (My prior immersion blender had plastic components. This is mostly metal.) It is a little top heavy, so have a plate ready to set it down on horizontally. (I tried working with it standing up next to the pot. The result wasn't pretty. Tasty, but not pretty.)
