I got this slicer brand new off walmart.com and open it up to use it only to find that what little metal it had on it was painted over rust!!! Wth! Returning product asap!

I returned this item because the blade would not turn on it. The product was defective.

Tried slicing apples of different brands and it just crumbled the slices. No matter what I tried slicing the food would catch at the bottom of the blade/tray and jamed evrything. I sent it back.
