Well, the lamp sent was a pink one, but that's okay because it's a pale colour and mostly hidden on the desk. Otherwise, it works just fine. The on/off switch is a vast improvement from some of the other styles I've used. This one is larger and easier to rotate.

works great, the actual screw holding up the shade and bulb frequently drifts down due to the weight of the bulb, but I was able to configure the nut on the left side with the screw on the right side to make it lock in place. Great lamp otherwise, the springs work great and move smoothly
