I bought this bed for my toddler. He is 29' and can comfortably stand beneath it. He plays beneath it for hours. I had to add a piece of plywood since the mattress I ordered was not sturdy enough. Pretty strong for a two-year-old; we'll see whether it holds up for a five-year-old as he develops!

Love it. Most of it is made of particle board. Wish it wasn't for the price. Lots of pieces is the only fault. Also wish the boards to hold the bed where thicker and closer together. Bigger than expected. Same as image but looks smaller in picture
