This headset has a great sound and bass level. I play fps, mmos, etc and can easily hear people talking and hear footsteps. I don't even have to turn it up all the way as it is to loud. It's also great to unplug from the remote and plug into a phone or tablet.

I like the headset adapter that turtle beach made for this headset. Its really easy to adjust game & chat volume, plus a master volume control that adjusts both. You can have the bass boost off or adjust to low or high bass boost for BOOMING sounds. The one draw back would be if you have big ears...
