This is a great clock for a desk, fireplace, bedroom or any place you want a clock. You don't hear the clicking of the second hand, very quite. This is my second purchase of this clock.

This is the best clock and site next to my bed. I don't use the alarm so I've never heard it but you can not hear it tick, tick, tick, it is almost silent. Highly recommend. I looked for a year for a quiet clock this is excellent
