The first casting reel I owned was given to me by my Grampa, and the quality hasn't changed over the many years. The Spincast Reel is just what my crappie rod needed, and it is a great addition to my other Pflueger collection.

My wife purchased the President Rod/Reel combo from the local Academy for an anniversary present. I never tried a Pfueger before and I'm very happy with this combo, especially the reel. First day out and the speck were biting! This 75/10 pulled everything my rig could draw and so far no problems.

This is the best underspin reel by far. It is rare to have a reel in this class that your kids can use easily and yet is serious enough for you to use also. Bought this about a month ago to replace an older pflueger reel, and it meets my needs entirely. Casts and retrieves smoothly. Got used to the underspin reels several years ago and just love the balance of them.
