This is my second Calphalon fryer, as I scratched the first one after (2) years. I didn't even consider buying any other pan to replace it. I went right back to Calphalon to buy another fryer. I use this pan almost everyday - for breakfast, sandwiches, steaks (yummy!), stir-fry, veggies, etc. ...

We have been using Calphalon for quite a few years. This "Chicken Fryer" has always been one of my favorites. I love to cook fried rice and curry in it because it has nice deep sides.

The jumbo fryer is the closest thing to a combo fry pan and wok, extremely versatile for stove top use of all types; and very good stovetop to oven for braised meats and pot roast.

This pan is exactly what we needed: it's lightweight, has the capacity and surface area we were looking for, and the nonstick properties are super easy to cook with & clean. With a lid = bonus! We use this pan virtually every day and every time I use it I literally exclaim, "I love this pan!".

I have been cooking with Calphalon for over 40 years and still have some of my original pots and pans. But this deep frypan is so incredibly useful, I don't know how I got by without it. Now if only there was an 8" deep fryer!!!
