Just leave it on the stove top, with olive oil in it, then turn to high heat for a few minutes, then crack the egg into it, cover it wait flip take out and enjoy. The pan stayed clean so add a few drops of olive oil and use again tomorrow. Use Eculution lid sold by Walmart.

Nice thick iron, the pan rusted after the first wash but settled after a few uses. I coat it with fat after each use and the surface is getting better every use. Watch for the handle getting very hot when cooking.

This little cast iron pan is really good size for cooking for one person. I like to cook scrambled eggs, burger, pork chops in it, it is used daily. It heats up very quickly and is a great way to get more iron into my diet. It will go on camping trips too.
